Mr. Bean Body Scrub

I love exfoliating and I have been using a scrub from the Body Shop for the past few months. It worked well but it never gave me a super deep scrub. I had been looking for a deep exfoliator and I am happy to say the search is over!

I ordered this scrub and it came so quickly. It only took two days and it arived in a cute box

When I opened it, I loved the bold and simple packaging.

When I checked the ingredients,  I was happy to see such natural and organic ingredients. It only had 6 ingredients, and the less ingredients and chemicals, the better. Because there were so few ingredients, I could tell that every ingredient was serving a purpose unlike some of the chemicals and preservatives in other body scrubs.

When you open up the packaging, there is a fine dark powder that smells AMAZING! It smells like black coffee and oranges and just everything good.

To use it, all you do is jump in the shower, get wet and then scrub the product in a circular motion and let it dry for 5 minutes. After that just rinse it off and
You're good to go!

After using this in the shower, my skin was so soft and clean. It gave me a very deep clean and was everything I hoped for.

I was a huge fan of this product and I'm
sure you will be too. To order go to

Mac 2014 Summer Alluring Aquatic Collection

Hello everyone!

MAC has been coming out with some pretty amazing collections lately and there are some more on the way. The most recent collection is the Alluring Aquatic summer time collection. The packaging is amazing so get ready for picture over load!

The two shades I got were Goddess of the Sea and Siren Song. Goddess of the Sea is a beautiful mauve/purple and Siren Song has a nice lustre finish and is a shimmery silver color. Not to mention that  packaging is textured!

I will be going to the promotional launch on Saturday so I will keep you all posted with tons of pictures, tweets (@chloekaybeauty) and swatches. I'm hoping they will still have some of the blush and bronzers in stock. And keep your eyes out for a giveaway pretty soon!

2014 Mac and Disney Collaboration:Maleficent

I am a huge Disney fan. Because I just got into Mac, I haven't bought many limited edition sets. One collection I look back on and wish I had bought is definitely the Disney Villans and when I heard about a collection focusing just on the fabulous Maleficent, I was super excited. Most of the products in this line are part of Mac's core line and are repackaged in the limited editon packaging. I bought 3 different products.
From left to right: Beauty Powder in Natural, Contour Powder In Sculpt and a lipstick in True Love's Kiss- amplified finish.
The Beauty Powder in Natural is very light and is a beautiful light highlight or could be used as a blush because it has a pink tone. It isn't sparkly or shimmery or glittery which is a huge plus for me. It has a very faint sheen which makes it appear a lot more natural and a lot less like a walking disco ball. It is great for highlighting or even to use all over for a natural glow.
The Sculpting powder is amazing! It is a perfect contour shade for me and really imitates shadow shades which is the whole point of contoring. It is super buildable and I could see myself wearing this everyday. So if you wanted an everyday contour this is great but this is buildable if you wanted to go for that Angelina Jolie look.

This lipstick isn't so much a clasic red, but rather a strawberry red. It has a beautiful glossy finish. I love it!

This is a small collection with but I am
Very happy with the 3 things I got.

Lime Crime Velvetines- Salem and Suedeberry

Goodmorning everyone!

Today I am going to be a highly raved about product- the Lime Crime Velvetines. I finally got them and I am so excited. They are amazing!

The first color I got was Salem. Salem is part of the highly anticapated Clueless witch collection. This collection had a bunch of hype around it. The collection featured 3 dark shades; Black Velvet, Wicked and Salem. Salem really stood out to me. It is a dark brown matte shade that looks sort of red/purple/brown all at the same time.

It goes on like a gloss and them BOOM

Dries like a lipstick. It lasted for ever and didn't smudge in the slightest.

The next shade I bought was Suedeberry which is part of their normal line. This shade is a beautiful orange/coral shade. It is very spring and in trend right now

Overall I LOVE THESE LIPSTICKS SO MUCH! They have super opaque and long lasting. They dry super matte. The only downside to these lipsticks would be if you have super dried lips, the matte lipstick might accentuate the chapped lips but if you are looking for a super matte, long lasting lipstick, this is the lipstick for you!

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade Review

I have read countless raves and reviews on this product. I thought it was just a another eyebrow product but I was so wrong. This stuff is fantastic

I got mine in the shade Dark Brown. It is super buildable and pigmented. It lasts all day and I believe it is waterproof...

Oh look! It's an awkward picture of my eyebrows!

If you couldn't tell, the brow on the left is naked and the one on the right has the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade on it.

This stuff is AMAZING and I will repurchase this over and over again

Spring Haul

It has been a while since I have posted a haul! Let's jump right into it

I got everything in this haul from Sephora and Urban Outfitters AKA my favorite stores.

This vase was on sale for $5. I have a tendency to buy bowls and cups and pottery. I love using them for storage and decoration. I plan on putting my brushes in here
The next thing I got were these star cluster earrings. So cute!

I bought the Kat Von D Immortal Lash Mascara and am loving it so far.

I love Soap and Glory because there packaging is so adorable! I couldn't resist getting this lip balm. It smells like peaches and mango!

Last thing I got was a Solid Beautyblender cleanser. I have had my beauty blender for a month and of course I bought a white one. My white beautyblender soon turned my light-medium skin tone and I couldn't clean it properly. I finally bought this and now it is white again!

Lime Crime Lipstick Review

I have been lusting over Lime Crime lipsticks for years and I finally ordered them and I am so excited to share these with you all.

These lipsticks are similar in texture to matte Mac lipsticks but the lipstick bullet is thicker than the Mac lipstick tubes.

The lipsticks last for a long time and smell like cake. The packaging is definitely the highlight the product and a lot better than the actual lipstick. The lipstick formula was average but the packaging is so amazing so they cancel each other out.

I would buy these again and am very excited to try other products by Lime Crime.
