Mac Soft and Gentle Review

Hello Everyone!

Today I'm going to be reviewing a Mac cult favorite.

Soft and Gentle is part of Mac's mineralize skin finish line.  Soft and Gentle is the only skin finish I own.  I love highlighters and i think they add a nice touch to daily makeup, but I really dislike overly glittery and shiny highlighters. I think they look unnatural and take away from the desired glowing look.

This shade is a beautiful shimmery gold.  A little goes a long way with this highlighter, so when you are using it, make sure to start off with a little and put on more if think its necessary.  This highlighter is very buildable, which is a plus, so if you are like me and just want little shine, use it sparingly. But if you are going for that Kim K intense cheekbone look, pile it on!

This highlighter is very beautiful but i don't find myself using it as often as i thought i would have.  Don't get me wrong, the texture and shade are both great but it is a bit too shimmery for my taste.  If you are a fan of strong highlighting, I would recommend this but if you are not a huge fan of shimmer and shine, I think you should pass on this one.

Thanks for reading this quick review.

Kelly Osborne and Mac Collaboration

I'm baaaaack!

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long. I have been out of town but now I am back and ready to blog.

Before I left, I got 3 new lipsticks from the Kelly Osborne's collaboration with Mac

This first shade is called Dodgy girl. It is a vibrant lavender. It is matte but still goes on smoothly.

Riot House is described as a light vivid orange. It reminds me of Cosmopop by Lime Crime. This peachy shade very beautiful shade and also matte.

The last shade I bought is Kelly Yum Yum. I don't have Candy Yum Yum and this shade is Kelly's version of it. This color is extremely bright and vibrant. It has a blue undertone so it makes your teeth look whiter!

I loved all of the colors in this collection. They were all original and well formulated. Did you pick up anything from this collection?

Thank you for reading,

Chloe Kay
